Forno Sethi is a restaurant tandoor manufacturer in India, based in Burari, Delhi and making tandoors since 1987. We build commercial square and round tandoors in MS (mild steel) and SS (stainless steel) for restaurants, hotels, dhabas, cloud kitchens, banquets and caterers. Both our square and round tandoors are double body tandoors with insulation, which holds heat inside and keeps the outer body safer to work beside. Our main restaurant model is the square tandoor, a clay drum tandoor inside a square outer body with extra insulation. You can choose charcoal, gas (LPG or PNG) or a hybrid that runs on both. We deliver across India and ship abroad.
Price depends on the size, the material (MS or SS) and your city. Send us your requirement on WhatsApp and we send an exact quote.

What is a restaurant tandoor? A restaurant tandoor is a larger, heavy-duty tandoor made for commercial kitchens. It has a clay cooking chamber, an insulated body and a sturdy outer shell, and it is built to run for hours at a time for naan, roti, kulcha, tikka, tandoori chicken and kebabs. Commercial tandoors are made in bigger sizes than home tandoors so that a chef can cook many pieces at once during rush hour.

Double Body Insulation – Every restaurant tandoor, square or round, has an inner body and an outer body with insulation in between. It holds heat in the chamber for steady cooking and keeps the outside much cooler than a single wall tandoor.
Clay Cooking Chamber – Clay gives the all-round heat that blisters naan and chars tikka, with the real tandoori aroma customers come back for.
Charcoal, Gas or Hybrid – Cook on coal or wood, on LPG or PNG gas, or choose a hybrid tandoor that runs on both.
Square and Round, Many Sizes – Five square sizes and five round (cylindrical) sizes, so a small cafe and a large banquet hall can each get the right tandoor. Custom sizes are possible.
MS or SS Body – Choose mild steel or stainless steel to match your budget, your kitchen and your climate.
Built In-House in Delhi – We control every step of the build in our own factory, so we can match your size and send spares and repair material when needed.
Delivery Across India – Packed securely and sent by part-load transport to your city, with export to selected countries.
Short answer: A double body tandoor has a clay drum tandoor inside, an outer body around it, and insulation in between. The insulation keeps the heat in the chamber instead of letting it escape through the wall. That helps the tandoor cook steadily, makes better use of fuel, and keeps the outer surface cooler for your staff.
Heat stays in the chamber, so the tandoor recovers faster between batches and your naan and tikka come out consistent in rush hour.
Less heat leaks through the wall, so the same fuel goes further, whether you cook on charcoal, gas or both.
The outer body stays cooler than a single wall tandoor, which matters in a crowded kitchen or a live counter.
The square tandoor is the same clay drum tandoor as the round one, fitted inside a square outer body. A square body takes more space around the drum, so we fill that space with extra insulation, which is why the square tandoor has double insulation. The round tandoor is a clay drum tandoor with a cylindrical outer body and insulation in between.
Insulation: We use industrial-grade glass wool between the inner and outer body, a material widely used for high-temperature insulation in industry. A single wall tandoor loses a lot of heat to the kitchen, which makes the work area hotter and burns more fuel.
Working temperature: Our tandoors can reach up to about 400°C. For regular tandoori cooking, around 300°C is enough, so you have good headroom for rush hour.
Restaurants and hotels – The main kitchen tandoor for naan, roti and tikka. See our restaurant kitchen tandoor details.
Live kitchens and open counters – Guests watch the chef cook. See our live kitchen tandoor, including options with a finished outer look.
Banquets and event venues – Large and Jumbo sizes for high volume service. See our banquet tandoor.
Caterers – Sturdy tandoors that handle big orders. See our catering tandoor.
Dhabas, cafes and cloud kitchens – Smaller square and round sizes for a tandoor menu without a huge footprint.
Food courts and franchise chains – Same model and quality across multiple outlets, with dealer and bulk terms on a call.
Short answer: Before you order, check the space, ventilation, floor, fuel supply and fire safety. A tandoor runs very hot and gives off smoke and fumes, so the kitchen has to be ready for it.
Safety: Never use a charcoal or gas tandoor in a closed room without proper ventilation. Follow your local fire and gas safety rules.
Short answer: Message us your size, material and city. We suggest the right model, send a quote, build your tandoor in our Burari, Delhi factory and ship it by part-load transport. Far cities such as Bengaluru can take about 7 to 14 days in transit. Packing and transport are quoted for your pin code before you pay.
When it arrives, check the package and tell us at once if anything looks damaged. Some remote pin codes may not be served by every transporter. If yours is unusual, ask us and we will find a route.
Daily care – Let the tandoor cool fully before cleaning. Remove ash if you cook on charcoal and wipe the outer body. Do not pour water on the hot clay.
Cover when idle – Keep the mouth covered when the tandoor is not in use, and keep the body dry, especially in the monsoon.
Clay repair and spares – Clay repair material and spare parts are available, so a worn chamber does not mean replacing the whole tandoor.
Warranty – Every tandoor comes with a 6 month warranty.
